PEAT SUBSTRATE
Bio Harvest peat substrate is made of sphagnum peat. Good air permeability is beneficial to the growth of plant roots and the full exchange of oxygen, carbon dioxide and other gases around the roots.
The sphagnum moss has a large cell tissue structure, it provides a higher pore capacity, thereby forming a higher air/water ratio, and the water holding capacity can reach about 15-20 times its own weight, which not only ensures the water supply of plant roots, but also helps to keep the continuity and stability of plant fertilizer and water. The pH value of the prepared sphagnum peat substrate has been adjusted to 5.5 or 6.5, which meets the planting requirements of most plants. The strict production process ensures that the physical structure of peat is not damaged during the processing. According to the requirements of planting different plants, various nutrients, perlite and vermiculite are added.
Bio Harvest peat substrate can be used alone or mixed with other materials, such as soil, sand, etc.; it can be used as a general-purpose cultivation substrate and the substrate for seedling propagation, potted plants, flower bed plants, and improved cultivation environment. It is also very suitable for outdoor crops and landscape plants with a long growth period. It is pollution-free, clean, hygienic, free of plant pathogens and harmful nematodes.
